The Graduate Program in Education (Master’s and Doctorate) aims to educate and qualify researchers in the field of Education, fostering academic research and activities that promote dialogue among different scientific and philosophical perspectives. It also seeks to strengthen the connection between educational practices and the broader world of life. Moreover, the program constitutes a field of study dedicated to critically examining educational processes, with particular attention to regional issues, while maintaining strong links to national and international contexts.

 

Who can apply for the Master’s program?

Holders of undergraduate degrees (bachelor’s, teaching, or technology degrees) in any area of knowledge.

 

Who can apply for the Doctoral program?

Holders of a Master’s degree (academic or professional) in any area of knowledge.

Graduates of the Master’s in Education are qualified to conduct research in Education and related fields; teach at all levels of education, from Basic to Higher Education; design educational projects and education policies; provide academic advising and pedagogical consulting.

Graduates of the Doctoral program in Education are qualified to conduct research and lead projects in Education and related fields; teach at all levels of education, from Basic to Higher Education; develop and implement educational projects and policies; produce and disseminate knowledge of academic and social relevance; supervise, coordinate, and advise educational projects in governmental and non-governmental organizations.
