MASTER¬īS DEGREE

Required documents for International applicants:

  • Application form and Annex 1 with Proof of knowledge of the Portuguese Language;
  • Certified copy of Undergraduate Certificate of course acknowledged in the country of origin;
  • Updated Lattes and Professional CV, with photo and copy of supporting documents/certificates. Lattes CV must follow CNPq standards (Brazilian Platform ), on website: https://wwws.cnpq.br/cvlattesweb/pkg_cv_estr.inicio);
  • Copy of National ID card (RNE);
  • Copy of passport;
  • Self-introduction letter highlighting relevant activities of training, professional experience and perspective of future (at maximum one page). The letter must be written in Portuguese, English or Spanish;
  • Thesis pre-project (see sample below).

 

Admission Steps:

  • Written Test (only for Brazilian applicants).
  • Analysis of Thesis Pre-project.
  • Interview (International applicants will be interviewed through Skype or other technological tool; schedule will be informed by the Program).

 

DOCTORATE

Required documents for International applicants:

  • Application form and Annex 1 with Proof of knowledge of the Portuguese Language;
  • Certified copy of Undergraduate Certificate of course acknowledged in the country of origin;
  • Certified copy of Master¬īs Degree Certificate of course acknowledged in the country of origin;
  • Updated Lattes and Professional CV, with photo and copy of supporting documents/certificates. Lattes CV must follow CNPq standards (Brazilian Platform), on website: https://wwws.cnpq.br/cvlattesweb/pkg_cv_estr.inicio)
  • Copy of National ID card (RNE);
  • Copy of passport;

  • Copy of Proof of second language proficiency. Applicants from a native language differently from Portuguese are exempted from submitting the proof of proficiency for admission to Doctorate. Proficiency in a second language must be proved up to the end of the second year course.

  • Interview and presentation of the research proposal to the assessment committee. International applicants will be interviewed through Skype or other technological tool; schedule will be informed by the Program.

IMPORTANT:

The selected international applicants will receive an Acceptance Letter in order to provide the Brazilian Student Visa. They will also receive an e-mail from PPGDR informing about documents and enrollment period.
