General Training: 9 credits in mandatory courses, each course with 45 hours
Specific Training: 2 credits per line of seminar (30 hours)
Practice and interventions I, II, III: 9 credits/135 hours (practice) plus 45 hours of theoretical seminars distributed over 3 quarters;
Final Work: Advising credits: 4 credits (60 hours)
Proficiency: Students have to proof proficiency in a foreign language up to the end of the third quarter.
Publications: Paper to be sent up to the sixth quarter 2 credits /30 hours
Class schedule: Friday afternoon and evening (during the first semester of the program).
Mandatory Courses:
Research Methods and Techniques - Scope and limits of the scientific method. Research designs. The relationship between laws / theories and the scientific method. Qualitative and quantitative research. Research techniques. Research project.
Approaches and contexts of intervention in mental health - Psychology themes in intersection with social and health discussions, through the study of different theoretical approaches. Discussion of mental health practices in different contexts.
Seminar of Line of Research I- Contemporary Clinical Practices, Public Policies and Mental Health: - Interdisciplinary studies in clinical practices and public policies focusing on mental health. Discussion and construction of intervention projects.
Seminar of Line of Research II- Social Practices, Organizations and Culture: - Interdisciplinary studies in social practices, organizations and culture. Discussion and construction of intervention projects.
Special Topic – elective course with several and current themes that every year is chosen from the list of the PPG courses.
Practice and Intervention I, II and III- Contextualization and elaboration of intervention strategies and innovative practices in different fields. Development of practices and discussion of intervention projects.
Intervention Seminar I, II and III- Discussion of cases from the presentation of the practices carried out and evaluation of the interventions.
