The X Scientific Seminar and IV International Meeting of the Graduate Program in Health Promotion - Master's and Doctorate at the University of Santa Cruz do Sul (UNISC) this year is joining the II Scientific Seminar of the Professional Master's Program in Psychology - UNISC, and the VI Symposium of the Multiprofessional Health Residency Program at Santa Cruz Hospital. These programs have an interdisciplinary approach, seeking to bring different perspectives in the investigation of complexity and the articulation of study objects. They involve various professional backgrounds focused on health promotion and health education processes within populations, fostering reflection, innovation, internationalization, recording, and daily practices of how interdisciplinary research and actions can overcome the fragmentation of knowledge.

A scientific exhibition will be integrated into the events, featuring abstracts and articles (research and experience reports) to share the work and studies of undergraduates, residents, master's and doctoral students, program alumni, and other academic members (professionals and researchers).

The project aims to foster discussions on relevant topics for health promotion, mental health, and health surveillance actions aimed at the community. It also seeks to lead interdisciplinary reflections and debates, in national and international contexts, on professional care practices: health care for students and adolescents, human rights, occupational health, non-communicable diseases, as well as themes related to health education, mental health, technologies, and health innovations.

The events will take place simultaneously and integrated on September 14th and 15th, 2023, at the campus of the University of Santa Cruz do Sul, and virtually via the YouTube® platform. This occasion will provide interaction between professors/researchers, undergraduate students, postgraduate residents (Lato and Stricto Sensu), and professionals from various knowledge areas involved in health promotion-related topics. The goal is to build connections with civil society, public institutions, and companies directly and indirectly involved in health promotion. In addition to local coverage, there is an intention to establish links between Stricto Sensu Graduate Programs nationally and internationally, and related areas, to strengthen research lines.
